Hao Zhang’s sole-authored research paper, “Using Regression and Machine Learning to Forecast Customer 

Spending Patterns and Turnover,” has been accepted by the International Conference on Machine Learning 

and Automation (CONF-MLA 2026). Conducted under the mentorship of Stanford Professor Margot Gerritsen, 

the research explores the application of regression and machine learning to business forecasting.
